It ought not come as a great shock to anyone that women reading the Bible just might get the feeling that they were, to use the hackneyed phrase, second-class citizens! This sense, however, comes as a result of not really digging deeply enough into the Word to find out exactly how the Eternal truly feels about women, their roles, and their significance in the plan of God.
